Karissa Elizondo

Karissa Elizondo is a current student at Sam Houston State University pursuing her BFA in Dnace with a minor in theatre. Karissa has a versatile background in drill team, all star, and musical theatre and experience in various styles including jazz, ballet, hiphop, and contemporary. In addition to her involvement in the dance program, Karissa is currently a member of the SHSU Orange Pride Dance Team. Karissa served as a three-year officer for her high school drill team and stays connected with her home community by choreographing for her former team and theatre troupe. She is a two-year Joci Award Dance Finalist and scholarship recipient and has been nominated for multiple awards for her choreography and performances in dance and theatre.
