America Alexandra Sanchez

America Sanchez is a dancer, teacher, and choreographer born and raised in Brownsville, TX. She is currently a third-year student at Chapman University pursuing her BFA in dance performance. She has worked with choreographers such as Azuki Umeda, Julianne Pedersen, Doug Baum, Nanea Yu, and Roman Romero. Her training has taken her to Orsolina28 Arts Foundation, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and the Martha Graham Dance Company, where she explored and performed repertory by Jacob Jonas, Aszure Barton, James Gregg, and Martha Graham. She has also been given the opportunity to perform in shows such as Movement Lifestyle, Choreographers Cup, Journey Dance Awards, and Grand Stand Dance Competition.
